The wonderful natural surroundings of La Manga Club lends itself to a number of options to enjoy the great outdoors. These include triathlon, road cycling, mountain biking & running.
Mild year-round weather, first-class sports facilities, two seas for open water swimming and a location on the edge of the Calblanque Natural Park mean that La Manga Club is able to offer fantastic natural routes for cycling and running training at all levels. For those seeking to take their training to the next level, expert guidance is also available at the Fitness Centre along with the services of the High Performance Sport Centre (CIARD) both situated in the Wellness Centre.
Regularly used by locals but otherwise undiscovered the Murcian roads provide a perfect training ground. Ride on roads used regularly by local professionals. There is a wide variety of routes with different gradings (easy, moderate or difficult) for training on the resort itself, locally around Portmán, La Unión, Los Alcázares or further afield for more demanding rides such as Mazarrón or Sierra Espuña, which has a mountain pass that will challenge even the most experienced of riders.
