Announcing himself to others in the locker room, Woojin as the third year captain of the baseball team directs them to use any locker that does not already have a name on it, and to make sure they keep it clean. Hearing that Soohyun is regarded as an ace pitcher, Woojin feels he does not really give off that kind of vibe. Checking whether Jaejin is fine with him appearing ill, Woojin then says he will shower back in the dorms since it is too crowded. Taken aback to find that Soohyun is his roommate, Woojin thinks they need to set some ground rules. Placing some tape on the ground, Woojin explains Soohyun is to not ever cross this line while he is sleeping. By morning, seeing that Soohyun is asleep and will be late, Woojin thinks should he leave without him. Pulling Soohyun out of bed, Woojin attempts to get him to wake.

Mr. Kim enters the class and announces that was the bell, before directing students to take their seats. Sharing that he will be their homeroom teacher, Kim adds it is nice to meet them all. Saying to Woojin that they should get going, Jaejin has the locker next to, and sits beside Woojin. On the pitch, Jaejin answers that he is fine despite his sweating being noticed. Searching online for details on Myungjin Junior High baseball team, Jaejin sees information on Soohyun. Wary of what he has achieved, Jaejin thinks he cannot lose his starting position to a freshman. While placing his arm in ice is a part of his exercise regime, Jaejin is troubled by pain from pitching. Against being taken off the pitch and having to go to hospital, Jaejin later shares that the doctor said his shoulder will get better as long as he takes a few days off. Hearing that Woojin is sick, Jaejin considers he has not missed practice in two years. Finding Soohyun in the room with Woojin, he hastily leaves before being noticed. Angered that he was there, Jaejin is understandably incensed further at finding Soohyun has taken his place on the starting lineup. Confronting both coaches, Jaejin learns Son and Choi are aware his arm has gave out before. Wanting to finish the season on the field with his friends, Jaejin is swayed by getting better by the time the Blue Dragon League opens.

Coach Son welcomes those gathered to the elite baseball high school. He details how the hardest part is not the rough training or the games, rather having a weak mindset. As long as they are on his team they had better learn to be tough, and fast, that will be all. When Jaejin has injured his shoulder with hospital treatment in mind, Son will not allow him to pitch further. Looking to Soohyun, he orders him onto the mound. Aware of Jaejin's injury, Son has dealt with hundreds of kids like him, enough that he has stopped counting. Adding that he knows better than anyone what happened to the ones who refused to take care of their bodies after an injury, Son details how it is not like Jaejin is going to stop playing baseball after high school, he just needs to recover for now.
