These are ranked from best to worst by my own personal preferences, so you may not agree (though those shown at the bottom without the descriptions have yet to be ranked. Freaking amazing! Loving the setting, the character motivations and the complete and utter badassery of the female lead when she actually shows her skills. Pleasee give this one a go! Highly recommended.
Romance Manga/manhwa With A Strong Female Lead
Gorgeous art, and an engaging plot. The MC is such a baddie. This manwha is becoming one of my favourites. Highly recommended! Also, the ml is precious and must be protected at all cost.
This is one of the most hilarious shit I've read. MC is pretty strong mentally (and is actually practicing sword fighting) and is such a badass it's amazing. It isn't your typical 'MC reincarnated as villainess' either, trust me on that and go read it. You won't regret it.
Female lead is very well versed in combat, independent and mentally strong. This is a good representation of how “strong female characters” don’t have to necessarily be short-tempered or hold an arrogant air around them. The MC is intelligent, knows her weaknesses, and only gets angered for good reason. Though she continues to be the densest character freaking ever (poor Emperor) the plot isn’t simply driven by the hella one-sided romance between the fl and the ml, but has an interesting story premise. I like how the art actually shows how strong the fl is, with her being given abs and muscles instead of a paper-thin body that doesn’t match her physical strength or reflect her years of training. HIGHLY recommend this one, definitely.

MC has travelled back in time after she's killed in battle. She's crazy strong (however, not as strong as the male lead, unfortunately), super cold, but has a soft side (well, she never really shows it, but it's there!...somewhere).
Big BIG fan of this concept of taking stereotypical action and romance genre tropes and meshing them together in what I like to think is comedy gold.
Story is about our MC getting revenge after her sister is killed by a 'hero', in a society where the line between villains and heroes is blurred. Our FL becomes a badads hero killer. Honestly so intriguing! Give it a crack
Isekai Manhwa Recommendation (mostly Strong Female Lead)
Hilarious!! Absolute comedy gold, I've only laughed hard like this with manhwa like 'Beware the Villainess'. Our MC is stuck in a time loop of sorts, where whenever her brother dies, the time loop is reset. Problem is, Death is on her brothers ass like white on rice, so she has a hard time! We follow our crack head FL as she lives through yet another loop as she gives absolutely no shits, causes mayhem and chaos everywhere, all while trying to keep her little brother alive. If you like comedy, this is a must read
. Great sword-wielder (OG villainess killed like 5 guys with a butter knife, it was great). This queen be slaying corrupt pricks and I love her for it.
The development of the main character in this is amazing. You get to see Li Cheng Ge, the MC, as she travels and meets people, developing from arrogant and pompous, to a calm, humble, cunning, and strong fl. I love how Change Ge and the male lead match wits, and how skilled she is when it comes to war, diplomacy and strategy.

Fl gets falsely accused of pretending to be the Duke's daughter by some fraudulent bitch who claims to be the Duke's 'real daughter', leading to her execution. Yet another time travel manhwa, so if you're not sick of this trope just yet, please pleAse give this one a read, the lead is amazing, and the story is good in my opinion
The fl in this is honestly my spirit animal - she just wants to live a laid back, lazyy life, with no ambitions but to sleep. I live for the character interactions, fights, and those fugly wigs the male lead occasionally wears. The story seems pretty solid. Anyways, I recommend you check this one out!
Strong Female Lead
The MC is pretty much so physically strong that she beats every cultivator in the manga (even though she doesn't have an ounce of energy), but she's lazy as all hell and doesn't even know why she's strong, besides the fact that she's a master martial artist. The manwha's pretty funny too and it gives off serious One Punch Man vibes.
So MC takes a bet (for like, a shit tonne of money) that she can disguise herself as a boy during school without the fact that she's a girl being discovered. She's very calm and collected, but fully capable of beating your ass.
Love this so much. The MC is freaking amazing and the story is interesting. I’m ready for my ship to sail, like pronto. Can’t wait to read more.

This focusses on the relationship between her and a new transfer student, following their antics and their adorable little romance. The MC is too damn likeable, along with the ml. Essentially, she seeks to find her father and confront him about his actions, meanwhile catching the attention of the ml. Story is very interesting!! Wowow! I love this one so much so far. The MC (a righteous knight) is such a perfect blend of badass and cute. She's so oblivious to general social norms that it makes for some really fun interactions. The whole 'travel back to the past after being killed' may be a hella over saturated trope, but man I can't help but slurp that shit up every time. Give this a squiz!
Our FL gets isekaid into the world of a book with a murim type setting, as the surprise surprise villainess! May seem stereotypical, but there's a good plot and a likable MC (she beats people up and continueously grows stronger) so what's keeping you from reading it? Go give it a crack!
Firstly, yes the blonde is a girl, yes it's confusing since she's referred to as a 'he' many times, but they're just mistaking her gender. I am so shocked that I've only jUst discovered this, it's bloody brilliant. The FL, a marksman and a great one at that, makes a contract with a devil to avoid death, and is thrown into a world of devil hunters. Crazy good so far, I recommend it!!

Of all the 'reincarnate as the villainess' mangas, this had to be one of the best (top tier stuff right here). It's so funny! The female lead may not be overpowered, but she's one of the few reincarnated girl's who has decided to actually learn sword fighting and magic, just in case she needs to 'defend herself'. This girl doesn't take shit from anybody! She stands up for her friends no matter what and is always willing to help them out. You may not like the mc's completely dense nature, but I think it's definitely worth a read. I hope you don't mind reverse harem's.
