When adapting a 44 chapter manga into a 12 episode anime, some scenes are bound to be changed or cut. This post is for those of you who want to know the differences but are too lazy to read the manga (although I do recommend that you do). This is going to be a long post, so more under the cut.
NOTE: From the second half of episode 11 to the finalepisode, alot of scenes in the anime were changed compared to the manga, most likely in order to make everything fit into 12 episodes. Since it would take very long to explain all the changes, I’m only going to include the most important ones
So to sum up, the anime focused more on Kayo and less on Airi and Kumi, and deviated a lot from the manga towards the end. But considering the 12 episode limit the anime had to tell the story, this shouldn’t be a big surprise. The manga had a slower pace which better fleshed out the characters and their relationships, but the anime still managed to capture the general essence of the story I believe.
