I’ll talk about this chapter in no particular order. And I want to begin with the hokages. Right now they are going to the location where Naruto and the others were. They’re supposedly in another dimension so I don’t know how they’re going to be helpful… Unless Tobirama also created a dimension crossing jutsu. I mean that’s basic right ? He can do that. But if they can actually cross to the other dimension it would be nice to see them all in action at once.
Now let us cross to that other dimension (’cause we can). Uchiha Sasuke is laying down the truth. I’m not the biggest Sasuke fan……… Well I’m not a fan at all. Be he got some things right. They should focus on Kaguya right now. Who is just standing there looking at her lava world, and not taking any action at all. Giving the time to Sasuke to save Naruto. And for Kakashi to show his awesome reflexes. The guy is mad fast, to have the time to take a kunai, take a scroll, wrap the scroll to the kunai, throw it at a rock, take another kunai, pin Obito to another rock, then grab Sakura, all that while he was falling into the lava. But for real Kakashi and Sakura should go away, go hide somewhere far. I don’t want Kakashi to die (yes I only said Kakashi)
When Sasuke told Naruto that Kakashi and Sakura were saved before the Mugen Tsukoyumi just because Naruto happened to be near them, I was ooohhhh noooo he didn’t. He’s practically saying those two could die and he wouldn’t give a rat’s ass. Plus he’s ordering Naruto to not save them in the future. Then we see a panel of Sakura facing her own uselessness. Funny thing is that each chapter we see how useless she’s becoming while she’s in her most powerful state with the seal and everything. Well at least she’s going to be there as a witness to tell everyone what happened while they were dreaming. That has to be useful in some way.

Because Kakashi’s scroll couldn’t hold the two of them, with the heat and all, the scroll is a piece of paper at the end of the day, we discover that Naruto can fly. Just like Madara before him. So we can assume Hagoromo also could fly. So the 3 people evolved in this fight can fly (Sasuke with the Susanoo). So we’re going in fights Dragonball style, or any other story where people fight in the air.
Kaguya is using the Byakugan, yes I’m happy, being a Byakugan fan an all. I’m also happy that while she’s the most powerful being in the manga right now, she’s using the basics, like blocking chakra points. When she attacked Naruto I thought she was using “empty fist” (the Hyuuga clan technique), but after we saw a lot of fist clashing with naruto’s technique. So I don’t know what kind of technique it is, but I’m also happy that even if those attacks are mad powerful, they are still using basic attacks. It’s not a competition of who got the biggest megazord.
Here are a few things I noticed in this chapter. That other dimension got a volcano erupting and there’s a castle by the side of that volcano. Is that Kaguya’s castle ? Is that her home? If so….is this really another dimension ? Last week I was talking about aliens, is this another planet ? There’s one thing I like about Kaguya so far, she doesn’t talk much. That’s a change from Obito and Madara who were constantly blabbing about everything. When she says that all chakra should be hers, was it Kaguya talking or the Shinju ? We do know that the Shinju became the juubi to reclaim the chakra that Kaguya took from him in the first place, so I think it’s logical that the Shinju could ask for chakra.

This chapter of Naruto wasn’t bad, even if it was a Sasuke centric chapter, but it wasn’t bad. I like the return to the basics, I like that the Byakugan is being useful. I’m giving this chapter a 7/10.The Infinite Tsukiyomi is in effect and the world is in peril. Kaguya, the originator of chakra, is hellbent on absorbing the world's chakra and it's up to Naruto and Sasuke to seal her away before she destroys their world! Hiding in the shadows, her son Black Zetsu manages to wheel and deal his way through centuries of ninja history to revive his mother, using various individuals like Kabuto and the Uchiha clan. With this intricate plan already in motion, Kaguya and Black Zetsu aren't pulling any punches in this final battle of multidimensional proportions!
Having absorbed the power of the Sage of Six Paths, Naruto and Sasuke are holding their own against a foe who can shift through dimensions and insta-kill anything that her projectiles hit. Helping them out are Sakura, Kakashi and even Obito, who not too long ago was a villain but had finally seen the error of his ways. Teamwork is essential to survive, especially if you're dangling over a pit of magma! Still, survival isn't enough when trying to fight back against a god and thankfully Naruto is clever enough to counter with a never-before-seen jutsu. It's so crazy and novel, you'll laugh when it appears. And believe me, you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. BOAWOOOOF!!
Kishimoto Sensei's art is strong in this volume, which is important for the climax of a 70+ volume epic. One of the backdrops, the ice world with the lone castle on top, is one of the coolest I've seen in the series. And the writing is solid, save for some long-winded exposition by Black Zetsu. There's a lot of defining lines, including one by Kakashi which is a throwback to his first impression to Squad Seven. It really brings out the nostalgia.
