March Comes In Like A Lion Manga Ending

Rei Kiriyama is an adopted adolescent who recently started living alone, financed by his salary as a professional Shōgi player. Despite his independence, however, he's yet to mature emotionally, and his problems continue to haunt him in his daily life. His relationship with his adoptive family is strained, and he has difficulties interacting with his fellow high school students. While he's able to manage a few cordial relationships with his peers in professional shogi, as well as his homeroom teacher, Rei has a relatively isolated lifestyle in a place that's almost unfamiliar to him.

Meanwhile, his professional career has entered a slump. Burdened with the heavy expectations placed on him as the fifth to become pro in middle school, his wins and losses are fluctuating as his record and progression into the ranks begin to stagnate. While he's yet to receive any significant negative attention, those that know of him in the shogi community wonder what is happening with him as he continues to struggle in a game where he initially showed tremendous promise.

March

Acquainted with Rei are the three Kawamoto sisters: Akari, Hinata, and Momo. Unlike the sullen Rei, they live happily in their modest home, which they warmly welcome Rei into as if he were one of their own. Despite his reservations about becoming too close to the family, he frequently visits, interacting with them and receiving the kind of care and affection he never quite had while under his foster home.

Beware of unmarked spoilers for chapters yet to be covered by the anime.Yeah! Rei, you da man!!! However, I do expect some protesting from Hina, who will at least bring up the Akari Option. I don't think she'll reject him, though!

Aniplex Of America Outlines

Already answered by b-okiya but i'll say again the confirmation that it's confirmed by Dascalon himself that he will be scanlating sangatsu no lion manga per chapter release if the digital raw is released, or 2 weeks after the magazine chapter release, but it also depends on Kewl, the translator to translate the manga chapter since Dascalon do the other work except translating the chapter, he even say that he already cleaned and edited the next chapter and just waiting for the translator to translate the chapter since he is still busy rightnow, expect the next chapter will be released in some weeks (or whenever the translator is not busy anymore, who knows).

Rei lending his arm there to Hina was so smooth and adorable to see, xD @ Hina’s friends reactions though. And then, those two Shogi kohai of Rei’s stirring up a little misunderstanding resulting in that glorious Confession scene. God, it was just incredible!

March

Absolutely cannot wait for the Next Chapter! Like some posts above suggests, I, too, think Hina will reject Rei merely out of shock or such, but I’m still holding on to the thin rope of this not being the case.

March Comes In Like A Lion Season 1 Part 2 Review • Anime Uk News

I think that Rei understands that Hina is kinda immature and indecisive about her situation since she's still young while he, on the other hand, is very mature and decisive for his age. Rei is totally serious about this and I'm sure now that he wants her, he won't back off.

Also Hina can't shake him off by bringing up her sister because he knows that Akari would never stand in the way of her sister's happiness and that he and Hina getting together would never mean that they wouldn't stay close with Akari. Actually I think it's the opposite and they can all become closer than ever.

Wow, he was so passive at the early chapters of the manga, but now he drops unexpected actions from recent chapters up to now. He is growing!Anonymous: have you ever watched/read march comes in like a lion? if so, could you give your thoughts about rei and kyouko's relationship

The Below Place — March Comes In Like A Lion, Sangatsu No Raion,

So, Kyouko and Rei were both raised in an abusive household. This is not something that is ambiguous, Koda as even tempered and reasonable as he seems bases all of his love and affection on skill on Shougi. The first chapter of the manga is Rei viewing his shougi match as murdering his adoptive father. Rei was adopted in the first place with the question“Do you like Shougi?”

Wow

The reason Kyouko loses it so much when Kouda tells her that she won’t progress any further in Shougi is not pride as Rei sees it, but rather because Kyouko seems to understand that her father’s love is based on Shougi at least on some level.

An important point of contrast is that Kyouko is emotionally intelligent and confident in a way that Rei isn’t, but also that it gets her absolutely nowhere. Rei thinks that if he were more like Kyouko he would be in a better off place, but Kyouko came from the same loveless household that Rei did so, in a way while she’s emotionally intelligent she’s just as underdeveloped and neglected that he is. Her father provides for her financially and that is about it, they have pretty much no emotional connection and whatever connection they had was severed over Shougi of all things.

Let Me Unburden My Heart To You — Cowboybebopandhiscomputer: Spoilers! Just To Be

Rei and Kyouko have a tense relationship, but unlike their respective relationships to their father I would say that it’s slightly more ambiguous whether the relatioship is entirely abusive on Kyouko’s part or rather it’s both mutually destructive.

Kyouko is older and she often lashes out at Rei and tries to sabotage him, and that
