Manga Spider Man

Spider-Man (Peter Parker) from the Marvel Mangaverse is an alternate version of Spider-Man created by Kaare Andrews. He is just one of many examples of differt cultural Spider-M much like Spider-Man (Pavitr Prabhakar), Spider-Man 2099, and Miles Morales.

The character will make his cinematic debut in the 2023 feature film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, depicted as a member of Miguel O'Hara's Spider-Forces.

Marvel

The Marvel Mangaverse is a comic book universe which was set in the Marvel Comics Multiverse created by B Dunn. The universe's incarnation of Peter Parker would debut in Marvel Mangaverse: Spider-Man (2002) the first of a five part mini-series, which was created, writt and drawn by Kaare Andrews.

Spider Man: The Manga

Andrews depicted this version of Spider-Man as a ninja and the last of the Spider Clan after his Uncle B was killed by Vom.

The Mangaverse Spider-Man first appeared in the first series (created, writt and drawn by Kaare Andrews) where his origin was very differt from the regular Marvel Spider-Man. In the Mangaverse Peter Parker is the last member of the Spider Clan of ninjas and has be taught martial arts by his ssei, Uncle B. After B's murder by Vom, an underling of the Kingpin, Peter starts to train in secret so he will be strong ough to exact his revge. In this version of Spider-Man, Aunt May is Peter's mother's sister instead of Uncle B being his father's brother. The Mangaverse Spider-Man was brought back for his own mini-series (again writt by original creator Kaare Andrews) in which he counters a cybernetic version of the Black Cat, as well as the Vom symbiote. This symbiote does not become Vom and has mystical origins and connections to an 'evil' clan of Ninja who are affiliated with Spiders, appartly a counterpart to Spider-Man's own ninja clan. Norman Osborn, better known as the Gre Goblin, has a minor appearance in the series.

In New Mangaverse: The Rings of Fate, referces are made to both the death of Captain America and in the Spider-Man: Legd of the Spider Clan miniseries which introduced his black costume and the Mangaverse Black Cat. During the course of this series, Spider-Man develops the unexpected ability to shoot webbing, which surprises him tirely. He is also the object of affection for both the Black Cat (though she later turns out to have be in league with the Mangaverse Nick Fury, her true loyalty unknown), and Mary Jane Watson, who becomes the Mangaverse version of Spider-Woman, and is shown to be being trained by Peter in the ways of the Spider-Clan.

Jason Thompson's House Of 1000 Manga

Unlike in the mainline Marvel Universe where Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson, and Felicia Hardy are now adults, all three of them are in their early to mid-tes at this point, and possibly their mid-to-late tes by the time of New Mangaverse. This version of Spidey has wrapped gloves, a backpack emblazoned with the spider symbol, and tnis shoes.

He was one of the starred characters in the anthology comic book Spider-Verse #1 starring in the story Spider Clan: The Many continuing the Marvel Mangaverse series that starred him before. The story is writt by Skottie Young and Jake Andrews. Jesse Schede of IGN explained that despite that fans of the Mangaverse Spider-Man will be pleased to see that Peter Parker return, he expressed Kaare Andrews not returning as unfortunate and also expressing disappointmt with the new writers. He felt that Young goes through a lot of effort in sding Peter on a journey to confront his heritage, only for it not to matter much in the d. He also compared it as Avatar: The Last Airbder-lite than being truly manga-inspired.

Peter

He also appears in The Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 3) #12 teaming up with The Manga's Spider-Man and SP//dr. Jesse Schede praised that sce, describing as one of the highlights of the comics book issue.

Shane Dson of Transnational Perspectives on Graphic Narratives: Comics at the Crossroads was negative on the mini-series starring the comic book character feeling that it did not offer ough transnational and transcultural themes unlike the other manga series starring Spider-Man. He also compared it to Star Wars with Uncle B being much like Yoda, Spider-Man being like Luke Skywalker and Vom being like Darth Vader with him being revealed as Spider-Man's cousin.Spider-Man: The Manga is a Japanese manga writt by Kōsei Ono and Kazumasa Hirai and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami which retold the story of Spider-Man in a Japanese setting. It was originally published in Japan from January 1970 to September 1971 in Monthly Shōn Magazine.

A junior high school studt named Yu Komori (小森ユウ , Komori Yuu ): A bright and intellectually-gifted, yet outcasted and withdrawn te gius, is bitt by a radioactive spider during a scitific demonstration, which imbues him with spider-like superhuman abilities, like the American Spider-Man's counterpart, Peter Parker and after a tragic mistake committed by accidtally mis-using his powers, which results in him uninttionally killing someone, a guilt-ridd Yu is driv to do good and atone for his irresponsibility, under the alias of a masked vigilante: Spider-Man. Yu faces Japanese versions of villains such as Electro, the Lizard, Mysterio, and the Kangaroo. The series also featured counterparts of Aunt May, named Mei, and J. Jonah Jameson, who is the publisher of the newspaper publishing company, where Yu is employed as a freelance photographer and which has an anti-Spider-Man stance.

Ikegami continued to provide the art. The first few stories featured analogues to several of Spider-Man's villains and supporting cast, while maintaining an altogether darker, grittier and moodier tone and atmosphere, compared to the original Spider-Man comics. The later Hirai-writt stories deviated further from the source material, being more tonally mature, adult-orited, violt, while including obsce contt, such as profanity, sexual and gruesome imagery of a kind not se in the original American Spider-Man comics. The later stories involved less comedy, were more dramatic, and had more realistic art, reflecting Ikegami's later style. The majority of the manga's stories focused on Yu's struggles with his alter-ego as Spider-Man and his normal life as a high school studt, the negative sides and consequces being a super-powered vigilante brings on to his life, along with his character-arc of initially utilizing his powers for solely selfish gain, to using them to do good and for guinely altruistic reasons, out of a sse of responsibility, despite being constantly tormted by negative emotions and the burd and misery being Spider-Man brings on to him, while also being careful with the use of his spider-powers and controlling his darker side and grim thoughts regarding his life as Spider-Man and struggling with the increasing tsion being a masked vigilante brings on to his relationships with his close ones, being extremely similar with the original Stan Lee/Steve Ditko run on the Amazing Spider-Man comics.

After his first outing in the Mangaverse, Spider-Man met Black Cat, and the Venom symbiote. This Venom wasn't the same as the one who killed Ben and was instead of a mystical nature, originating from the Shadow Clan that which were a counterpart to Spider-Man's own clan and who attempted to recruit him when he was temporarily possessed by Venom through a cursed amulet. He also met the Green Goblin Norman Osborn who wanted the power of Venom for himself to resurrect his wife and Matt Murdock the 'Devil Hunter' who was willing to do anything to destroy the cursed amulet which had taken his love Elektra from him.
